Physician Proctorship
For physicians who qualify, Endocare provides a Proctorship Program consisting of one-on-one, surgeon-to-surgeon cryoablation proctoring by an experienced cryosurgeon in your Operating Room. Endocare's minimum case requirement for proctoring is three cases per event for prostate and two cases per event for renal.Endocare's Proctoring Program consists of two phases:
- Phase One: Proctoring by a Surgeon
Endocare provides an experienced cryosurgeon to support you through your first two to four prostate cases and one to two renal cases.
Endocare's Proctorship Program does not provide or endorse any type of hands-on patient contact. All instruction will be provided in person by the proctor standing in proximity to the surgeon in training. - Phase Two: Endocare Technician Support
After surgeon proctoring, on-site case support may be continued by Endocare's Senior Clinical Education Specialist for the next two to four cases or until the trainee and their OR are ready to perform cases on their own.
When scheduling proctoring cases physicians should identify three potential dates with a minimum of three weeks in advance notice.
